Founder Story

Brooklyn Gaines LMT

ASAYA Founder and Service Provider

In 2018, I returned to my hometown of Campbellsville, Kentucky. After spending nearly ten years out west, I came home with a vision to create a platform that inspires people to heal their bodies with a more holistic approach.

In 2019, after years of prayer and seeking guidance, I received a distinct message: "If you can touch them, you can help them." That moment marked the beginning of my journey into massage therapy.

The Meaning Behind ASAYA

The logo for ASAYA embodies this vision and philosophy. It reflects the earth's elements: earth, water, fire, and air, symbolizing the natural forces that align and balance the body.

These elements represent grounding, flow, vitality, and clarity. They are principles we embrace to help clients reconnect with their natural state of health.

A Holistic Massage Practice

With deep passion for the human experience, nature, and plant medicine, I have dedicated countless hours to perfecting my craft as a massage therapist.

I am committed to sharing knowledge about holistic health and its many facets, with the ultimate goal of supporting healing in the body, mind, and spirit.

Pain Relief Massage and a Broader Healing Movement

According to the National Health Interview Survey, 50.2 million adults in the United States experience chronic pain on most days. The National Institute on Drug Abuse reports that between 8 and 12 percent of people using opioids for chronic pain develop opioid use disorder. In 2020, an estimated 2.7 million Americans age 12 or older reported having opioid use disorder.

With ASAYA, I am deeply committed to changing this statistic and being part of a movement toward healthy healing and wellness. Massage is not a replacement for medical care, but it can be one useful support for people dealing with muscle tension, stress, guarded movement, and pain that affects daily life.

A Safe Space for Balance

The journey to healing is truly a lifelong experience. I invite you to share your journey with me at ASAYA, where you can find a safe space for balance within your body, mind, and spirit.

At the end of each massage, I say "Namaste," meaning "I bow to everything that is good and divine within you." I pray that God's hands will guide mine, helping to restore balance within you.

From the ambiance of the studio, to the scents used throughout, the temperature, the lighting and the sounds in the background, Brooklyn has set up the most tranquil of atmospheres. She paid attention to my requests, she focused on areas that needed attention and she used the perfect amount of pressure. 10/10 would recommend using Brooklyn for a great massage.
